With nearly 40 years of professional experience teaching at the elementary, high school, and collegiate level, Papa Tom brings a deep sense of passion, professionalism, joy, and connection to his teaching.

Papa Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts in Percussion Studies, Master of Music in Instrumental Conducting, and a California State Music Teaching Credential from California State University, Sacramento. He also pursued a Doctor of Musical Arts in Instrumental Conducting at the University of Washington.
